Our Commitment

Coaching the G.I.S.T. pairs human coaching with a private learning lab. This page explains what that means — plainly, without hype.

1. Containment — your data lives on infrastructure we control.

Your lab environment runs on our private server and Space Agent platform — not a consumer chat app. Our operations layer runs loopback-only, meaning there is no public agent endpoint by default. Your work stays in your Space.

2. Consent — you choose what is on.

Separate toggles for (a) lab access, (b) automated check-in emails, and (c) AI-assisted prompts. Defaults are conservative. You can turn features off. Nothing happens without your knowledge.

3. Human gate — Eric reviews what matters.

When you submit work for review, it goes to Eric — a person, not a bot. Enterprise and cohort engagements skip full automation entirely. The review queue is governance, not an FAQ.

4. Bias and power — we name it.

AI models encode mainstream assumptions. Our stack is operator-tuned and Eric-supervised. We are intentional about serving clients who have been excluded from elite coaching tools — especially BIPOC clients building persistent reflective space. Naming bias is the first step; supervision is the second.

5. Clinical boundary — the lab scaffolds, it does not treat.

The G.I.S.T. Lab helps you organize thoughts, track themes, and practice self-talk between sessions. It does not diagnose, crisis-intervene, or replace therapy. If you need clinical support, we will help you find it — but the lab is not that space.

Where Your Lab Lives

Your G.I.S.T. Lab is hosted at space-agent.coachingthegist.com — a private environment, not a public chat platform. It is the same environment described on our G.I.S.T. Lab page.

Aisha — Your Companion, Not Our Backend

Aisha is a peer system built by Onyx Impact, designed for Black community empowerment. Your Aisha account is yours — separate auth, separate terms, separate data. After each session, we can send you a short context brief capturing the themes we touched, the questions you are holding, and a few prompts you may want to keep working with. If you use Aisha, you can share that brief inside your own account so she can help you stay in conversation with yourself between visits.

If Aisha surfaces insights or patterns you want Eric to see, you can send us progress notes by email before your next session. A simple structure that works well: what you noticed, what shifted, and what you want to bring into our next session. We use those notes to prepare with more focus and continuity. Everything happens with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.

In the future, we may offer a direct, protocol-level connection between your Lab and Aisha. Until then, all sharing is initiated and controlled by you.

Aisha scaffolds reflection and accountability. She does not diagnose, crisis-intervene, or replace therapy. If Aisha flags something that needs human attention, it goes to Eric’s review queue — not an automated response.

Aisha’s cultural grounding is non-negotiable. She was designed for Black communities by Black-led Onyx Impact. In our coaching context, that design is preserved — not diluted by our methodology overlay. This is a partnership, not a whitewash.
